We had 17°C in our apartment.
Of course Martina did not want to get out the heaters, because it was not even May yet, even though we have been shivering for a week or so. Nevertheless on the 2nd of May 2009 her resistance grumbled under my constant stream of bitching. Ah, the power of democracy! ?
Temperatures outside our living room window are usually around 15°C or so when we get home. Funny enough, as soon as you leave our apartment and walk 200m in any direction it is 1-3 °C warmer.
We noticed that in what was a disappointing summer . I think even our two doors down next neighbours have had it 1-2°C warmer.
We will investigate. But it seems clear that we have bought a place that is positioned in its own thermal zone.
After about 10 days of having the heaters turned off the temperature dropped in Sydney and therefore we only had 16°C in the apartment.
Currently we are testing having the heaters permanently on, but on a low setting. currently this allows us to enjoy cosy 18°C.
