When we were back in Austria on one of the nights we ended up having a discussion with friends about the effectiveness of prison sentences compared to the old practice of pillorying. We decided that the latter would be a much better punishment. It seems that the Body Corporate of our apartment building agrees because we found this little gem on the notice board when we came back:
