Plan B turned out to be quite successful, since we are now the proud owners of one fifth of 104/71 Victoria St in Potts Point. The rest belongs to the bank and probably will do so for quite some time to come.
We weren’t really fully prepared for this to ever happen. And now it feels a bit strange to see all our money go (with the huge deposit already deducted from our accounts). And it hasn’t yet fully registered that we will most likely move around Christmas and live in our own place and actually be able to put a nail into a wall.
Ok, we are still a bit overwhelmed, since everything happened within 2 days and in a rush and with lots of frayed nerves. First running around between bank, solicitor and real estate agency. And then waiting for the phone to ring.
In terms of space we’ll probably have the same amount as now. But with 2 (that’s TWO) car spaces. Not that we’d own a car. Yet. But the Landcruiser is still in the pipeline. And we’d probably rent it out, since parking in this area is always scarce. Then we have a “cosy” balcony where we can probably fit on chair. But it’s ours and we are excited and over the moon.
