We don’t know when Elsie came off the production line, but it was exactly one year ago that we took her home. Since then we did 25 weekend trips with her which averages to roughly every other weekend. Not bad. So for her birthday we decided to head up to Myall Lakes again. Unfortunately the campsite we had wanted to stay at was closed off. So we spent the first night at Violet Hill. But we found another nice spot on Saturaday at Neranie. Since it was raining a bit, instead of just staying put, we first did some off-roading, tree cutting and mud driving along Clarks Rd trying to find a way to the lakes shore. But the mud made Martina too nervous and so we decided to head up to Wallingat NP to have a look around there before coming back to Neranie to stay the night and watch some Kookaburras kill a mouse .
